Why Golfers Choose the GCQuad

Tour-Proven Accuracy

Quadrascopic cameras capture ball speed, launch angle, spin axis and true spin rate directly from the ball — accurate to within fractions of a degree. What you see on screen is what your swing actually did.

Club Data Included

Angle of attack, club path, face angle, and impact location. This is the data teaching pros charge $200/hour to show you.

Plays in Any Space

Needs just 10' of room depth behind the ball. Works in garages, basements, and spare rooms with 9'+ ceilings.

For the Whole Family

FSX Play includes closest-to-pin contests, mini-games, and multiplayer — it earns its footprint year-round.

Golf Simulator Buying Guide — How to Choose

Launch monitor technology: cameras vs. radar

Photometric (camera) systems like the GCQuad photograph the ball at impact, so they're accurate in short indoor spaces and unaffected by room lighting. Radar systems (TrackMan, Mevo+) track ball flight over distance and prefer 8+ feet of flight room, which most home rooms can't give them. For indoor builds, cameras win — this is why camera-based units dominate home installations.

How much should you spend?

Entry packages ($2,000–$5,000) use consumer launch monitors and are fine for entertainment. Mid-range ($5,000–$12,000) adds better enclosures and projection. Luxury packages ($12,000–$30,000) use tour-grade monitors with club data — the difference is whether the sim can actually improve your game or just host it. If you take lessons or play to a single-digit handicap, club data pays for itself.

Ceiling height is the #1 dealbreaker

Measure before anything else. You need enough height to swing driver without fear: 9' minimum for most golfers, 10' if you're tall or steep. Everything else about a room can be worked around; ceiling height can't.

Projector vs. screen-only setups

A proper impact screen and 4K projector transform the experience from "hitting into a net with an iPad" to playing Pebble Beach at dusk. If the budget forces a choice, buy the best launch monitor you can and upgrade projection later — data quality is permanent, screens are replaceable.

Installation

This package installs in 4–6 hours with two people; every order includes a video walkthrough and live install support. White-glove professional installation is available at checkout in most metro areas.

Frequently Asked Questions

How accurate is the GCQuad compared to TrackMan?

Independent testing consistently shows the GCQuad within 1–2% of TrackMan on ball data outdoors, and more accurate indoors, where radar has too little ball flight to measure. It's the launch monitor Foresight sells to the PGA Tour's own players.

How much space do I need for a golf simulator?

Minimum 12'W × 15'L × 9'H. The critical number is ceiling height — swing a driver where you plan to install and confirm clearance before ordering.

Can I use the GCQuad outdoors or at the range?

Yes. It runs on battery for up to 6 hours and works in full sunlight, so it doubles as a portable range tool.

Does it work with left-handed golfers?

Yes — the GCQuad detects left- and right-handed players automatically, with no repositioning.

What software and courses are included?

FSX Play and FSX Pro with 25+ courses including Pebble Beach. Optional integrations include GSPro for community-built courses.

How long does delivery and installation take?

Orders ship within 2–3 business days via freight (free, curbside). Self-installation takes 4–6 hours; white-glove installation can be scheduled at checkout.

Is financing available?

Yes — from $432/month, with 0% APR options at 12 months, subject to approval.

What if it doesn't fit my room?

Send us your room dimensions before ordering and we'll confirm fit. If a delivered enclosure doesn't fit, we exchange sizes at no restocking fee.
